ANNUAL MEMBERS MEETING NOTICE / BUDGET MEETING NOTICE
NOVEMBER 2, 2017 - 7:00 P.M. / SIGN-IN STARTS 6:30 P.M.

Please be advised that the Annual Meeting of the Sunset Ridge Homeowners Association, Inc. will be held on November 2, 2017 at 7:00 P.M. Sign-In will begin at 6:30 P.M. The Meeting will be held at:

The purpose of the meeting of the Sunset Ridge Homeowners Association, Inc. is to elect the Board of Directors for the Association and address any issues pertaining to the community. The agenda for this meeting is enclosed.
If you are unable to attend this important meeting, an official proxy is enclosed for your absentee participation. Please complete the Official Proxy and return to 107 N. Line Drive, Apopka FL 32703, email to falmonte@sutherlandmanagement.com or fax to the number listed above. A quorum of the Association must be achieved in order to call the Meeting to order. A quorum is 30% of the total membership (382 x 30% = 115). Therefore, 115 homeowners, either in person or by proxy, must be in attendance.
An Intent to be a Candidate form is also enclosed should you desire to run for a position on the Board. This should be mailed to 107 N. Line Drive, Apopka FL 32703, email to falmonte@sutherlandmanagement.com or fax to (407) 774-8375 by November 2, 2017. Nominations for candidates will also be taken from the floor the night of the meeting. In addition, if you are elected to the Board you are now required to complete a “Candidate Certification Form” as required by Florida Statute.
According to Florida Statute 720, you are ineligible to be a Board Member if you are more than 90 days past due on any monetary obligation due to the Association. Please feel free to contact Sutherland Management, Inc. if you have any questions concerning this matter.
Immediately following the adjournment of the Annual Meeting the Board will hold the Annual Director’s Meeting to elect officers and review and approve the 2018 Operating Budget; please find a draft budget attached. The final approved budget may differ significantly. The Board may discuss and impose rules affecting the Lots within the community.
